Who We Are

Teens For a Better Tomorrow is the youth advisory board for Chambersburg Cares, a local coalition.  This group of high school students is from Chambersburg Area Senior High School and Chambersburg Career Magnet School. These students are working to reduce risk factors among their peers to encourage healthy behaviors.

What We Do

The students in Teens For a Better Tomorrow start the year by looking at the local data and determining what risk factors among their peers they want to address. The teens then pick the focus of the group projects. Coalition staff will assist in guiding the projects to make sure each one is successful. In the past, the teens have lead the "be kind." campaign, poverty simulations, project sticker shock, and a town hall meeting. Projects will vary each year.

change
